The Medical Laboratory Studies major of Muskingum University is designed for already certified medical laboratory technicians with an Associate of Science (AS) degree in medical laboratory technology who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, in order to eventually qualify to sit for the MLS exam with the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) using the route 2 pathway.
